APAAR stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. The APAAR ID is a 12 digit identification number which, once generated, can become a lifetime digital passport to access the marksheets, degree and diploma certificates and sports certificates of students, for higher studies and jobs. This process requires the following documents:

1. Aadhaar card copy of the student

2. A consent letter signed by any one of the parents

3. Aadhaar card copy of the consenting parent.

The APAAR ID generation requires the use of Aadhaar number of students. As they are minors, the ministry of education has mandated a letter of consent that needs to be signed by any one of the parents and their Aadhaar card to be submitted at school for cross-verification.

NB:

1. If there is a mismatch between the name of student written in the Admission Form and the Aadhaar Card the APAAR ID will not get generated. Please get these differences sorted at the earliest. 2. Parents who are unable to submit a copy of the Aadhaar Card of their child must sign a undertaking that they will submit it as early as possible.
