INFRASTRUCTURE & FACILITIES
At St. John’s High School, it is our constant endeavour to advocate for a child’s holistic development. The youngsters need several avenues to stimulate their extracurricular requirements. To that end, we have ensured that we provide a vast range of facilities to our students under the competent guidance of our teachers.
MATHS LAB
Our Maths lab helps students explore and discover solutions to math problems through the amalgamation of concepts and logic. The mathematical teaching aids create an ideal environment for student-centric explorative learning. Here, the students learn and enjoy the subject while comprehending and applying mathematical concepts.
GEOGRAPHY LAB
The well-stocked Geography lab at the school has globes, maps, charts, and models to aid pupils in understanding ecosystems, topographies, meteorological analysis, and the planet. Students gain a variety of skills as a result of the process, including data gathering and analysis, interpretation and assessment of intricate arguments and supporting facts, problem-solving, individual and group project management, and more.
SCIENCE LABS
Our institute takes great pride in having three specialised science labs—one for each of the three major scientific fields: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These well-stocked and fully equipped laboratories give students the opportunity to experiment, demonstrate, analyze, and conduct research, cultivating in them a strong scientific mindset. Their reasoning skills are honed as they observe various things and conduct various experiments. We focus on stimulating their inherent inquisitiveness as they experience the significant association between theory and applied science.
COMPUTER LAB
With a student-to-computer ratio of 1:1, our avant-garde computer lab is equipped with 48 computers that are outfitted with the latest software and hardware in compliance with t h e I C S E c u r r i c u l u m . W h i l e integrating technology into the curriculum, our school aims to equip students with tech skills critical to a 21st century workforce under the skillful supervision of the computer teachers.
SENSES PRO SMART BOARD
Our school is committed to providing advanced technology to enhance learning, which is why every classroom is equipped with the SENSES PRO smart board. With a stunning 4K display, responsive multitouch surface, integrated BOSE audio, and built-in microphone system, it transforms everyday teaching into an engaging experience. Its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities ensure seamless connectivity, making lessons more interactive and impactful.
LIBRARY
With more than 10,000 books, journals, and newspapers, our library is well stocked and offers a diverse selection of healthy reading alternatives for our pupils. The vast learning potential of reading as a habit is realised with weekly reading hours, which cultivate cognitive development, expand vocabulary, enhance knowledge, strengthen analytical skills, and improve concentration.
SWIMMING POOL
Our school boasts a splendid swimming pool that contributes to the all-round development of our students. Children can develop muscle strength, coordination, and endurance through water-based activities that offer natural resistance. As a cardiovascular activity, swimming also enhances heart and lung health and can positively impact emotional well-being.
HOBBIES & SPORTS
Students can engage in a variety of sports and physical activities as part of our comprehensive curriculum. In addition to many other sports, we also provide cricket, netball, table tennis, swimming, skating, dance, music, taekwondo, athletics, and football. The playground is the perfect spot for pupils to retreat during playtime since it is equipped with athletic amenities and has welldelineated sport zones.
CCTV CAMERA
It's crucial that children feel safe and secure at school, and their welfare is of utmost importance to us. For their protection, the school has round-the-clock CCTV surveillance. This system supports on-duty security guards and ensures continuous monitoring of all activities on the campus.
MOBILE APP
The school has introduced a mobile app to improve parent-school communication. Parents can access the year plan, which includes academic and extracurricular activities, along with syllabi, class schedules, circulars, attendance records, fee details, real-time school bus tracking, and any other notifications the school may post.
CANTEEN
The growth and development of a child depend on a healthy diet. The school maintains a canteen for this purpose, which offers hygienically prepared food, snacks, tea, and coffee.
INFIRMARY
Students’ well-being is of prime importance to us. We have an infirmary stocked with basic first-aid supplies, medications, and facilities to attend to the health needs of our students while they are in school.
TRANSPORTATION
We provide daily transportation to pick up and drop children. Buses are kid-friendly, secure, and wellmaintained. Three staff members work on each bus: an experienced driver, a conductor, and a maid. Every bus has a CCTV camera installed at the entryway to keep an eye on students getting on and off the bus. We have installed a GPS tracking system on all our buses, which allows parents to monitor their where-abouts in real time on the School App.
COUNSELLING
The Counselling Facility at St. John’s is not just a reactive service for crises; it is a proactive partner in your child's journey toward self-discovery and resilience. We offer a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space for students to explore their emotions and manage stress and anxiety.
